Faculty of Education and Teaching
The primary objective of this academic program is to equip individuals with the title "Learning and Teaching Designers" within educational institutions. These individuals are intended to serve as invaluable resources to the educational faculty within these institutions by offering expert guidance and support in the alignment of learning and teaching processes with the demands of the 21st century.
Beyond assuming roles as kindergarten teachers, educators, and mentors, graduates from this program are anticipated to possess the capacity to lead creative and innovative thinking. They will be adept at analyzing learning environments and, subsequently, redesigning them to effectively integrate the skills requisite for the 21st century. Such skills include, but are not limited to, leveraging technology and computational tools for learning and teaching, thriving in uncertain educational landscapes, facilitating learning at any time and in any place, promoting critical thinking, ensuring continuous assessment, fostering problem-solving abilities, steering project initiatives, and contributing to the design of optimal learning environments.
Following exposure to the innovative and diverse learning environments inherent in this program, graduates will be aptly positioned to seamlessly integrate into various educational settings, ranging from kindergartens to middle schools. In doing so, they will serve as consultants adept in the design and development of contemporary learning and teaching methodologies. Proficient in leveraging existing learning spaces, they will adeptly tailor these environments to accommodate evolving pedagogical paradigms, thereby becoming integral components of a novel educational leadership framework characterized by a comprehensive and strategic approach, ultimately steering transformative changes within the educational system.

Dr. Maytal Shabat-Simon
I’m inviting you to join a new program for a master's degree in education at Tel-Hai Academic College.
This program is designed to prepare you to be an educational leader who drives change.
The master's program, focusing on learning and instruction design, encompasses a diverse array of disciplines unified by a singular goal: effecting meaningful changes within the educational system.
Throughout the training, you will learn why creating collaboration (with learners) is important, why education matters, and how to lead change in a learning space tailored to the 21st century.
The program promotes independent thinking, research processes, and curiosity among learners and educators of all ages. The curriculum will be based on connecting theory to practice, from design principles to neuro-pedagogy.
The program is intended for educators who teach all disciplines across all age groups and are interested in expanding their horizons, enhancing their teaching skills, and strengthening, among learners, the love for learning and the educational framework.
