Industry–Academia Collaboration in the Upper Galilee

Tel-Hai Tech is an internship program for computer science students who, during their studies, are assigned to software companies that have set up R&D branches in the Galilee. Among these companies are international enterprises such as BMC Software, NVIDIA and recently Red Hat as well.

Recognizing the industry's increasing need for quality engineers, Tel-Hai College excels in producing graduates who can meet the appropriate standards and needs of this growing work force. The companies benefit well learned, eager potential future employees who they can train and mold to suit their needs, while providing job opportunities, advancement possibilities, and higher income options to graduates who wish to settle in the Galilee.

In fact, many of the students who take part in the program continue to stay on as full time employees and establish their homes in the Galilee following their graduation. For example, the northern branch of NVIDIA (formerly Mellanox) began with the recruitment of 8 students, and now employs 90 developers, 90% of whom are Tel-Hai graduates.
