SILICE: Social Innovation for Local Indian and Israeli Communities and graduate Entrepreneurs
Project Duration: October 2016 – October 2019
Coordinated by Tel-Hai College, The SILICE project developed an open source platform that promoted social innovation ideas and international cooperation at regional levels between the EU, Israel and India.
It tackled cross-cutting issues like gender-balance and equal opportunities for women. This project also developed a creative and supportive environment within partner HEIs through the establishment of SinnoLABs (Social Innovation Labs) which contributed to the development of social economy enterprises in their diverse forms (including social enterprises) which play an important role in increasing the competitiveness and efficiency of the Israeli and Indian economy in many different ways
