About the Institute

The Applied Chronobiology Research Institute has been operating for several years at Tel-Hai College under the leadership of Professor Yaron Dagan, a senior physician and sleep medicine specialist. The uniqueness of the Institute is that its field of activity is very broad, touching on many fields of research conducted at Tel-Hai College and its adjacent research institutes such as the MIGAL Research Institute, the Shamir Institute for Golan Research and more. The Institute’s goal is to conduct many and diverse studies in many fields related to a chronobiology - diurnal and/or seasonal. Such a cyclical view is relevant in the sciences of animals, plants, medicine, psychology, genetics, the environment, computers, and basically in every field related to human and plant life.

Research Areas

The Institute for Chronobiology works on research into the health, medical, functional, psychological and general effects of biological clocks on the different areas of life in humans and animals.
