Computer Science (B.Sc.)
One of the first college departments of computer science in Israel, the mission of the department is to serve as an academic center in the Upper Galilee that trains its graduates to high academic standards, as well as to the ability to become leading developers in the software and high-tech industry in Israel and worldwide. The department aspires to serve as a prime growth engine for the software industry in Upper Galilee.
We offer five dedicated tracks to allow our students to further specialize in depth: Software Development, Signal Processing and Machine Learning, Real-Time and Networks, Web Technologies.

The Department of Computer Science at Tel-Hai College maintains a bachelor's degree program (.B.Sc.) in computer science. Since its establishment about 25 years ago, the department has trained hundreds of graduates who have successfully integrated into industry and academia in Israel and around the world. The curriculum in the department includes up-to-date content designed to prepare our graduates for a career in the high-tech industry and elsewhere.
The department offers five specialization clusters in software engineering, AI, signal processing and computational learning, Internet technology, and real-time systems and networks. The department also offers courses and workshops in a variety of other fields,
some of which are built in cooperation with companies and entities in the high-tech industry.
The faculty members of the department have a rich background in industry and academia. They are involved in active research in the core areas of computer science as well as in multidisciplinary research that combines fields such as biology, agriculture, ecology, and more. We see high-quality teaching as our main task and allocate the bes resources to achieve this goal.
As a direct result of the establishment of the department and the increase in the number of its graduates, a high-tech industry developed in the area, including branches of international companies and local companies, some of which were founded by our graduates. As part of the cooperation with the local industry, the department developed a 1,000-hour training program that allows students to gain industrial experience - the ״Galil Tech״ program. This program allows our graduates to start their professional careers in an optimal starting position.
We invite you to start your career in computer science with us. The quality of the teaching, the connections with the industry, and the unique geographical environment create an extraordinary educational experience you are invited to join.
