Congratulations on your interest in the Economics and Management Department at Tel Hai College. An academic education is an investment that pays live-long dividends. Our program provides graduates with a B.A. degree in economics and management. Our graduates report that during their studies, they gained broad economic and managerial knowledge, qualitative analysis mastery, and independent/critical thinking skills that led to diverse business opportunities, all within a supportive yet challenging academic environment, surrounded by the breathtaking views of the Upper Galilee.
There is an exponential growth in the demand for employees with economic knowledge and managerial training. B.A. graduates from our program can enter business, private or public sectors through a diverse range of economic and managerial positions, such as financial managers, accountants, bankers, economists, budget managers, treasurers, team managers, strategic consultants, financial consultants, economic analysts, salespeople, and also independent entrepreneurs. Furthermore, many former graduates have continued onto master’s degree programs and even doctorial programs.
The Economics and Management Department at Tel Hai Academic College offers a traditional B.A. program, where students study full-time. Additionally, we offer a program suitable for working adults consisting of two half-days of study a week. All programs offer a solid theoretical and practical background in both economics and management. The program’s curriculum emphasizes theory along with its practical application through the analysis of case studies taken from the economic, administrative, and social reality in Israel and around the world, both at the micro level of households and businesses and the macro level of national and international economies.
This department also has several specialization and internship tracks, such as accounting, information systems, financial and capital markets, business administration, and economic theory, providing students additional professional options.
The academic faculty, all who have PhDs from the best universities in Israel and the world, engage in both research and teaching. Additional, external lecturers with rich real world experience contribute to the learning experience by providing examples from the realities of daily life in Israel and the world.
A wide range of scholarships are awarded every year to outstanding students and students facing socio-economic hardships. Students with learning disabilities are eligible for assistance.
I encourage you to join the Economics and Management Department at Tel Hai College to gain invaluable knowledge, improve your abilities and skills, and receive a high value degree in the job market.
If you have additional questions, I invite you to schedule a personal meeting with me by writing to [email protected]. We will answer as quickly as possible.
